If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesWork on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects, with responsibility and authority for budget, schedule contractual obligations, and quality standardsNegotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companiesMay have responsibility for several projects concurrentlyInitiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issuesHas responsibility for preparing proposals, conducting interviews, and negotiating contracts with clients after selectionDevelops and maintains significant relationships with client management personnelDelivers high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsIdentifies need for and directs subconsultants performing services on projectsActive in professional associations, including presentations of technical papers, member of technical committees, and officer of local or national organizationTravel required when requestedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical EngineeringRegistration as a Professional Engineer10-15 years of directly-relevant experience in Wastewater Engineering working with wastewater treatment facilities and wastewater collection systems5+ years of project management experienceMust have demonstrated ability and experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized infrastructure projectsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project teamProficient in MS Word and ExcelPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Other Compensation and BenefitsCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
