Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable  Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working as part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret diagrams, schematic drawings, equipment manuals, and service manuals to determine appropriate work procedures.
• Operate rigging equipment, dollies, and other material-handling equipment to safely position and install heavy machinery and components.
• Install and fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings, belts, and other mechanical components.
• Align, test, and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Perform predictive and operational maintenance procedures to identify and address potential equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective or worn parts and components.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform tack welding as needed to temporarily hold components in place until final welding can be completed by a qualified welder.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to help minimize equipment downtime.
• Work assigned shifts, including varying or rotating shifts as needed, to support production lines and maintain equipment availability.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and other team members to quickly resolve equipment issues.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience working with bearings, gears, shafts, motors, couplings, belts, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and related maintenance equipment.
• Tack welding experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of a team.
• Willingness and ability to work shifts in support of production operations.
