These are Dry van loads For Uline office supplies and international paper products. All the loads from WI/IL are pre-loaded and drop in PA, GA, and TX and from there hooking to an empty trailer and head to the next pickup that will either take you right back to where you picked up in WI/IL or very nearby and you keep doing as many as you want. We average about 75% to 80% drop and hook freight. Drivers will be assigned a dispatcher and we have 24/7 coverage to assist.

General Accountabilities

• Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
• Collects delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
• Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Secures cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
• Drives trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations.
• Drives trucks with capacities greater than three tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, livestock, or other materials.
• Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
• Inventories and inspects goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
• Operates equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs.
• Checks conditions of trailers after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.
• Reads bills of lading to determine assignment details.
• Couples or uncouples trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks.
• Checks all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
• Reads and interprets maps to determine vehicle routes.
• Cranks trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure vehicles.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of professional truck driving school
• Experience: 6months -2 years of experience as a OTR truck driver
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Commercial Drivers' License
• Clean MVR no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years
• UPDATED MED CARD
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
• NO FAILD OR REFUSEAL DRUG OR ACOHOL TEST
• No speeding in tickets or Suspension in the last 3 years
• MUST BE ENROLLED IN THE FMSCA CLEARING HOUSE

Solo Drivers

• Paid every Friday
• Paid all mile loaded and unloaded
• Pay Start at .58 cpm for 60 days (probation period)
• Performance Pay raises (Base off DIRVER performances)
• After 60 days .65 cpm
• Weekly average miles 2,750-3,000
• Layover & Detention pay
• 100% no touch freight
• 80% drop & hook
• No WEST COST, NYC, LONG ISLAND OR BOSTON
• Home every other Friday or Saturday (If you come home on Friday, you start back on Monday If you come home on Saturday you come back out on Tuesday)
• 1099
• Fuel and Safety Bonus
• Referral Bonus

TEAM DRIVERS

• Paid Every Friday
• Pay Start at .68 CPM to the truck for 60 days (probation period)
• After 60 days .75 cpm
• Paid all miles loaded and unloaded
• Performance Pay raises (Base off Team performances)
• Weekly average miles 5,700-6000+
• Layover & Detention pay
• 100% no touch freight
• 80% drop & hook
• No WEST COST, NYC, LONG ISLAND OR BOSTON
• Home every other Friday or Saturday (If you come home on Friday, you start back on Monday If you home on Saturday you come back out on Tuesday)
• 1099
• Fuel and Safety Bonus
• Referral Bonus
• Team runs back and forth from WI TO GA
