Senior Financial Analyst-FP&ASHINE Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst-FP&A to own the financial tracking layer that connects every dollar of the operating side of SHINE Chrysalis and serves as the data foundation so that leadership always has an accurate operating financial picture. The Senior Financial Analyst ensures reporting SHINE owes to internal and external parties has been verified and is compliant.The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:Serve as the primary finance interface to department heads and business unit leaders for budget accountability, translating financial results into operational language and holding departments accountable to their approved plansOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget vs. actual reporting cycle, from GL actuals receipt through written variance commentary, and deliver it to the Director, FP&A and business partners within an established timeline following monthly, quarterly, and annual closeMaintain a live 12-month rolling OpEx forecast, updated monthly, integrating inputs from various departments and teamsOwn the headcount model actuals vs. budget by department, open requisition tracking, and forward-looking staffing assumptions coordinated with department heads and business partnersProduce the OpEx and headcount sections of the annual operating budget submitted internally and externally in accordance with established contractual and internal reporting schedulesPrepare recurring operating expenditure inputs for contractual reporting obligations including but not limited to the Base Case Financial Model, Monthly Progress Report, Quarterly Operating Certificate, and Omnibus Annual ReportRequirements4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or management reporting. You have owned a BvA process before, not just contributed to oneStrong Excel skills. You can build and maintain a rolling forecast model without a template handed to youClear, concise variance commentary. You can explain a budget miss to a CFO in two sentences and to a department head in plain languageHigh attention to detail and deadline disciplineComfortable working across functions. You know how to get accurate data out of accounting, HR, and department heads on a fixed monthly deadlinePreferred Requirements:Experience in a capital intensive, regulated, or project-financed environment in energy, advanced manufacturing, construction, or government-contracted businessesFamiliarity with manufacturing operating budgets, federal cost reporting, and compliance requirements including eligible project costs determinationsExperience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools: Power Query or similar data management experience a plusWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., standing or sitting) for extended periods.Ability to use a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment.Exposure to standard office noise and lighting conditionsAbility to move within facility environments.Ability to comply with safety and security requirements, including access-controlled areasWork may occasionally take place in controlled radiation areas under supervision and within regulatory exposure limits.Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant's ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.
