This role ensures guest satisfaction while maintaining compliance with legal regulations and minimizing liability.**Essential Functions and Duties:*** Provide professional and courteous service to guests at all times.* Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as required by the banquet event order.* Set up and stock bars in advance of all events with necessary beverages and supplies.* Inventory all beverage products before and after each event for cost reconciliation.* Secure all alcohol and equipment at the close of each event.* Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal limits.* Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to control costs and maintain cost-to-sales ratios.* Work with security to ensure intoxicated guests are refused additional beverage service.* Attend department meetings and contribute to the overall success of banquet services.*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.***Required Experience, Education, and Skills:*** Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or event setting.* Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.* Familiarity with alcohol service regulations and TIPS certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing guest needs.**Work Environment:*** Primarily an indoor role, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.* Frequent standing and walking for extended periods during events.* Requires lifting and carrying items up to 20 lbs., with frequent handling of objects up to 10 lbs.* Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.**Other Duties:**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
