We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on medium duty trucks and diesel engines. The role involves repairing air brakes, reading schematics, working on hydraulic systems, and diagnosing electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel engines and medium duty trucks.

• Repair and diagnose issues with diesel engines and air brakes.

• Read and interpret schematics to understand electrical and hydraulic systems.

• Perform wiring diagnostics and address check engine light issues related to drivability.

• Work with hydraulic systems to ensure proper functionality.

• Utilize electrical experience to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in trucks.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in preventive maintenance and diesel engine repairs.

• Experience in working with hydraulics and electrical systems.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve truck engine and drivability issues.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel mechanics.

• At least 1 year of experience in hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.

• Capability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Sun-Wed, from 5am to 3:30pm. The hourly wage ranges from $29-37, depending on experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $78000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
