Patient Care Coordinator E 37th Street - NYC Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:00p Pay Rate: $23.50 - $25 DOE Assignment: 3-Month Contract with Potential for Extension Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for an onsite opportunity on East 37th Street, NYC . Responsibilities Schedule and manage patient appointments Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures Answer and route incoming phone calls Verify patient insurance coverage Obtain and process referrals and authorizations Update patient demographics and medical records Provide exceptional customer service and patient support Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record system Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 6 months of medical office experience Strong customer service and communication skills Experience with insurance verification and patient scheduling preferred EPIC EHR experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits of Working with Adecco Weekly pay 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental, and vision benefits Access to skills training and career development opportunities Pay Details: $23.50 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
