The facility operates a robust outpatient clinic model supported by Nurse Practitioners and a collaborative care team, ensuring providers can focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a structured and well-supported environment.

Physician - Internal Medicine - Oncology

Job Details:

• Outpatient clinic schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 9-hour shifts
• 36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage per week with 30-minute admin time and 1-hour lunch included
• 15-18 patient encounters per shift
• Patient mix consists of 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology, primarily benign cases
• Primary focus on outpatient care with on-call provider handling new hospital consults
• Hospital call coverage rotation every 4th or 5th week, one full week at a time
• Expected hospital visits on weekdays for new consults and weekends for rounding and emergent consults
• New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated; Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
• Board certification required with active BLS certification
• Indiana medical license with active DEA preferred for timely onboarding
• No paid or pending malpractice claims and no actions reported on NPDB required
• Ability to provide 3-4 professional references required
• 60-day notification required for agreement cancellation and 45-day advanced notice required for PTO
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Nearest airports include Indianapolis International (IND) and Purdue University Airport (LAF)
