They'll shape projects that power entire industries such as mining.Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team with a focus on sourcing, engaging, and hiring Process Engineers and Process Controls Engineers. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in controls engineering talent, partnering closely with your team, hiring managers, and HR to build high-performing technical teams. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial sourcing through offer acceptance and help shape our employer brand within the Industrial Automation industry.Core ResponsibilitiesFull Cycle Recruiting & Pipeline DevelopmentDevelop and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify qualified Process Controls Engineers, including passive candidates via LinkedIn, engineering forums, industry associations, and niche job boardsBuild and maintain a robust talent pipeline of controls engineering professionals with expertise in DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instrumentation systemsPartner with Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and technical screening criteria for controls engineering positionsConduct thorough phone screens and structured behavioral interviews to assess both technical aptitude, cultural fit, and global travel readinessManage candidate experience throughout the process, ensuring timely communication and a positive impression of the organizationExtend and negotiate offers in alignment with compensation guidelines and market dataProcess & OperationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATSTrack and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline conversion rates, and offer acceptance ratesContinuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and candidate qualityEnsure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal hiring policiesStakeholder PartnershipAct as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR, providing market intelligence on candidate availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trendsCollaborate cross-functionally with HR and Project teams for a seamless hire-to-start experienceProvide regular updates and pipeline status reports to stakeholders and leadershipCore Behavioral CompetenciesResilience — stays effective under hiring pressure and ambiguitySales mindset — sells the role and company to competitive candidatesRelationship building — earns trust with passive candidates and managersGlobal CompetenciesCultural competence — navigates global markets with sensitivityData-driven — uses funnel metrics to guide decisionsInclusive hiring — actively reduces bias in screening and selectionRequired Qualifications1–4 years of recruiting experience (entry-level: 1–2 years; mid-level: 3–4 years), ideally in a technical, engineering, or industrial recruiting environmentDemonstrated ability to source and engage passive engineering talent using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing toolsFamiliarity with process controls engineering concepts and terminology (DCS, PLC, SCADA, P&IDs, instrumentation, loop tuning, etc.) or a strong aptitude and willingness to learn quicklyExperience managing full-cycle recruitment with multiple open requisitions simultaneouslyProficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and standard recruiting toolsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with technical candidates and non-technical stakeholders alikeHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughPreferred QualificationsExperience recruiting across the United States, Europe, LATAM, APACBackground in heavy industry (e.g., mining, oil, gas, etc.)Understanding of complex recruitment considerations such as global mobility.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional recruiting certification(s)Intermediate or Native bilingual English/Spanish speaking and writingWhat We OfferCompetitive base salaryHealth, dental, vision benefitsMatching 401kFitness ReimbursementCompetitive Paid Time Off, Paid HolidaysProfessional developmentEqual Opportunity StatementReliable Controls Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
