This facility is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist for locum tenens clinic coverage on a full-time, ongoing basis starting as soon as possible. The credentialing timeframe is estimated at 90-120 days, with the potential for expedited processing for candidates with a clean file. Established clinical protocols and support staff, including office staff and medical assistants, are in place to facilitate quality pediatric gastroenterology care delivery throughout the assignment.

The assignment area offers a range of attractions and activities suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include Point Defiance Park, a 760-acre urban park featuring a zoo and aquarium, as well as the Museum of Glass. Entertainment venues such as the Tacoma Dome and Washington State Fair Events Center host a variety of live events throughout the year. Nearby destinations including Mount Rainier National Park, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, and Lakewood extend the range of outdoor and cultural experiences available to those on assignment in the area.

This locum tenens position requires a board-certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to provide full-time clinic coverage on a day shift basis, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Clinicians will manage a pediatric patient population with an anticipated volume of 12-15 patients per day. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment. An active state medical license or IMLC is required, and board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology is mandatory for consideration.
