Commercial Building Product Specialist
Role Overview: We are seeking a driven professional with a strong background in commercial building products to drive product specifications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and facility end-users to secure project specifications.
Job Locations: Los Angeles, CA & San Diego, CA
Workstyle: Field-based territory role requiring frequent local travel and regular overnight trips.
Residency Requirement: Incumbent must live within the designated sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Specification: Engage and partner with architects, interior designers, and facility end-users to secure product specifications in commercial building projects.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships within the design and architecture community.
- Territory Travel: Conduct regular local client visits and manage regional travel schedules effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience specifying commercial building products in projects with architects, interior designers, and facility end-users.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
- Location: Must currently reside within the assigned territory.
- Travel Demands:
- Comfortable traveling overnight 4 to 5 times per month.
- Comfortable with long travel days locally 3 to 4 days per week.
