As a Security Officer Part Time Screening Driver in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen people and property, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a freight and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and shipments entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
