Job Summary We’re offering a $750 sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. Working under licensed personnel, you will assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, taking vital signs, and other clinical tasks. Essential Functions Perform patient care-related duties and clinical functions, including point-of-care vital signs, EKGs, bathing, sanitary needs, and patient ambulation. Provide 1:1 patient observation and phlebotomy as required. Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments. Document mandatory data (height, weight, fluid intake, output, blood glucose, etc.) in the Electronic Health Record. Set up patient food trays, feed, and assist with eating when needed. Maintain patient rooms by stocking, equipping, and cleaning. Retrieve, set up, clean, and report malfunctioning equipment. Assist with patient admission and discharge processes. Orient new PCA team members as directed. Interact effectively with patients, visitors, and the care team. Communicate with nursing staff in a timely manner about patient concerns. Promote a positive, collaborative team environment. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred). Experience: 0-1 year working in patient care or elder care (preferred). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understand and follow written and oral instructions. Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong patient/customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Proficiency in computer skills for electronic medical records.
