Position Summary We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate with experience handling heavy machinery and industrial equipment. The position supports receiving, inventory organization, order preparation, packaging, shipping documentation, and truck loading and unloading. All activities must be performed under the direction and instructions of the designated supervisor, following approved procedures and safety requirements. Responsibilities Receive and unload equipment, parts, and supplies; verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against receiving documents. Photograph and report damage, shortages, incorrect items, and other discrepancies promptly. Label and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining safe stacking and accurate records. Pick orders and verify that equipment, parts, hardware, accessories, and accompanying documents are complete. Package, palletize, crate, wrap, and secure products to protect them during handling and transportation. Measure and weigh shipments and prepare and print shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading, and other required documents using approved company information. Stage outbound shipments and assist with carrier pickups and truck loading as directed. Record inventory movements, participate in cycle counts, and obtain approval before making inventory adjustments. Keep returned, damaged, or unidentified items separate pending supervisor instructions. Operate forklifts, powered pallet jacks, and other handling equipment only when trained, evaluated, and authorized. Complete required equipment inspections and follow load limits and approved methods for handling heavy or unevenly balanced loads. Maintain clean, organized work areas and keep aisles, exits, and loading areas clear. Use required personal protective equipment and report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, injuries, and near misses immediately. Stop work and seek supervisor guidance whenever instructions are unclear or a task cannot be completed safely. Perform other related duties as assigned, within the employee’s training and authorization. Required Qualifications Prior warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material-handling experience. Demonstrated forklift experience handling heavy equipment or industrial loads. Documented forklift operator training and certification in accordance with OSHA requirements. OMER USA will verify prior training and complete any necessary equipment- and workplace-specific training and evaluation before authorizing operation. Familiarity with inventory control, order picking, packaging, and freight shipment preparation. Basic computer skills, including data entry and printing inventory and shipping documents. Ability to follow supervisor instructions, read work-related documents, and communicate safety concerns clearly. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and a cooperative approach to teamwork. Experience with vehicle lifts, machinery parts, crating, and warehouse management software is preferred. Physical Requirements and Work Environment The role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling equipment and packages in a warehouse and loading-area environment. Heavy or oversized items must be moved using appropriate mechanical assistance or team handling. All hours worked must be accurately recorded. Overtime must be approved in advance; all overtime worked will be paid in accordance with applicable law, including at one and one-half times the regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
