The facility operates as a rural tribal health clinic delivering clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages. The clinic functions as a solo-clinician setting with established clinical protocols to support consistent and coordinated care delivery. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the community population served.

The assignment area is situated on a remote island in the Aleutian Islands chain, approximately 1,100 air miles from Anchorage. The local economy centers on commercial fishing, with surrounding waters rich in Pacific cod and halibut. The area features a maritime climate and proximity to an active volcano, and the cost of living is approximately 2% below the national average, providing a distinctive environment for clinicians seeking a remote assignment.

Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages at an on-site rural tribal health clinic, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is minimal, with an average of 16 patients per month, and clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions across all age groups. Call coverage is negotiable for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required.
