Physical Therapist (PT / DPT)

Position Summary: We're hiring a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehab at Jewett Orthopedic Institute, located at 60 Columbia St, Orlando, FL 32806. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

About the Role: The Physical Therapist works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions toward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.

Essential Functions: Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, demonstrates competency in the use of equipment, and provides patient/family education. Recognizes when the patient has received optimal benefit from physical therapy and ensures complete documentation and accurate billing.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy. Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida. Temporary permit acceptable. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification. No prior experience required.
