Orthopedic Physical Therapist Virtual Health

UCHealth is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for our Virtual Health team. In this remote role, you will provide video-based evaluations, treatment, and follow-up for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. You’ll design individualized, evidence-based plans of care, guide therapeutic exercise, support pain management, and educate patients and families on recovery and injury prevention. Working within an academic, nonprofit system, you will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, document in our EHR, and contribute to innovation and quality improvement while growing your skills through ongoing learning and development. Responsibilities Deliver virtual orthopedic physical therapy evaluations and follow-up visits Develop and adjust evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans Provide remote therapeutic exercise instruction and pain management strategies Collaborate with physicians and care teams across UCHealth’s system Educate patients and families on recovery, mobility, and injury prevention Document care accurately in the electronic health record Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed Participate in quality improvement and clinical innovation initiatives Maintain compliance with regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical learning Orthopedic physical therapy evaluation and treatment Telehealth platforms and virtual visit workflows Musculoskeletal examination techniques Therapeutic exercise prescription Post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation Pain management and functional mobility training Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Patient and family education Outcome measurement and progress tracking Interdisciplinary team collaboration Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Qualifications Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred Board certification in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) preferred Current BLS or CPR certification Telehealth/virtual care experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Orthopt
