We are searching for a reliable Cook to join our team. The duties of a cook include preparing food according to the recipe and health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, preparing orders quickly and other job duties as necessary. The kitchen environment is high energy and fast paced. Your role will require you to prepare orders quickly while following health and safety guidelines. Job Duties Follow receipts, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes Handle and store ingredients and food Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Rotating stock Update temp logs for food, refrigeration and freezer. Communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers. Very organized and detail oriented. Knowledge of federal and state standards and requirements regarding food preparation and storage, sanitation, health, and record-keeping. Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must obtain/maintain alcohol license. Work Requirements Stand for long periods of time Creative and skilled in food preparation Physically capable of fulfilling all requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds.
