Role Description

Our client is growing its Security Services division and is seeking a driven Account Executive to lead new business development efforts in the Austin and Los Angeles markets. This is a true hunter-style sales role focused on building pipeline, developing client relationships, and closing net-new business within commercial and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities
  • Sell electronic security solutions including cameras, access control, and intercom systems
  • Conduct cold outreach through calls, emails, networking, and events
  • Build pipeline within commercial real estate, logistics, retail, corporate campuses, and luxury residential markets
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Negotiate contracts and close complex deals
  • Maintain CRM activity and pipeline reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and marketing teams
  • Consistently exceed sales goals and KPIs

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Background in security systems, low-voltage, or related industries preferred
  • Proven success in a hunter/new business development role
  • Strong cold prospecting and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment
