Your expertise will be valued across diverse caseloads, including high school English and Biology (both require a high school certification), middle school resource programs, intensive learning center classrooms at the elementary level, combination pullout/inclusion settings, and PreK special education. Desired Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico licensure in Special Education
• Certification for high school English and/or Biology (for HS positions)
• Previous experience teaching students with special needs in a school setting
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for individualized education
• Adaptability in working with various grade levels and program models

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instructional support based on IEPs and student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams
• Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
• Implement evidence-based strategies to ensure student growth and success

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, 37.5 hours per week, throughout the school year allowing for balanced work and meaningful connections with students and colleagues.
