Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two infants (born three months apart), and occasional care for a toddler Own full child‑related responsibilities during your working weeks, including organizing children’s spaces and transporting the children to and from activities, appointments, and daycare Partner with other childcare providers to deliver seamless transitions and consistent care Establish nap routines and feeding schedules, and assist with transitions as babies reach key developmental phases (liquid to solids, etc.) Clean and sanitize changing areas, bottles, and equipment to maintain a healthy environment Prep and conduct bottle feed Organize the babies’ room and wardrobe Assist with children’s laundry as needed Handle light meal and snack preparation for the toddler Create a calm, nurturing environment that supports each child’s growth and development Maintain steady routines, structure, and age‑appropriate boundaries Support emotional regulation, independence, and resilience Keep clear, consistent verbal and written communication, including detailed handover notes Adopt existing household protocols, routines, and systems in full Travel with the family, both nationally and internationally Qualifications Minimum 10 years of professional childcare experience Infant and early childhood education background are of primary importance (knowledge of Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia is a plus) Experience in a fully staffed household and as part of a team Travel nanny experience, with comfort traveling for extended periods nationally and internationally Safety‑first mentality, always putting the children’s well being first and foremost Comfortable in a sole‑charge position when the parents travel Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and situational awareness Professional and discreet, with respect for household structure French or Spanish speaking a huge plus Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Valid passport, ability to travel Infant CPR, BLS & First Aid certifications required (family can organize) Must love dogs Location New York City + extensive travel Compensation $130,000 to $185,000 per year DOE (based on hourly plus OT), plus benefits and PTO & discretionary bonus Schedule 7am to 7pm, 5 days per week Tuesday‑Saturday, with flexibility needed (schedule can be subject to change) Pocketbook Agency is an equal opportunity recruiting firm and does not discriminate in its recruiting, screening, or placement practices based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Pocketbook Agency
