Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — must be onsite 6 days per month at the Bolingbrook corporate office
Contract Duration: 5 months

Position Summary

The Project Manager, TikTok Shop will support the go-to-market execution and continued growth of a leading TikTok Shop channel. This role will manage the channel’s GTM calendar, coordinate brand activations, campaigns, LIVEs, product launches, and major promotional moments, and ensure key deadlines and deliverables remain on track.

The Project Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, creators, influencers, and event teams to execute high-impact activations. This role will also manage key meetings, communications, reporting, process documentation, and project tracking while supporting new opportunities and innovations within the TikTok Shop channel.

• Manage the TikTok Shop go-to-market calendar, including brand activations, campaigns, product launches, LIVEs, and other key initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional coordination for TikTok Shop LIVEs and channel campaigns, including sampling, timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
• Lead execution of major activation moments, including large-scale promotional events, grand openings, LIVEs at brand events, and other high-profile initiatives.
• Coordinate dedicated brand LIVEs featuring celebrity talent and top-tier influencers.
• Partner with store eventing and corporate events teams to identify opportunities to amplify events through TikTok Shop.
• Develop and execute tentpole event amplification strategies with guidance from the Senior Manager.
• Coordinate with Category Management, Operations, Creator/Affiliate Marketing, Media, and other teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives.

• Manage recurring cross-functional and vendor meetings, including developing agendas, coordinating materials, documenting decisions, and tracking action items.
• Own month-end ORM reporting and maintain accurate program trackers.
• Support hero product and SKPP tracking in partnership with the TikTok Shop Operations team.
• Develop and maintain process roadmaps, SOPs, and documentation for new processes and ways of working.
• Track expenses associated with major activations and ensure spending is accurately documented.
• Organize and draft monthly newsletters for the broader GTM organization, highlighting TikTok Shop updates, accomplishments, upcoming activations, and key program information.
• Manage the TikTok Shop inbox and ensure inquiries are routed to the appropriate team members for timely resolution.
• Own and maintain the TikTok Shop enhancement backlog, documenting business needs, benefits, risks, priorities, and implementation considerations.
• Partner with IT and product teams, as needed, to define business requirements, assess opportunities, and support solution sizing and implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, category management, project management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, and the creator economy.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, track, and execute projects from concept through completion.
• Creative problem solver with an innovative and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
