Job Summary and QualificationsThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, acting as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Carry out procedures or functions as directed by the medical provider.
- Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Our facility is an 80+ bed full-service hospital serving Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities.
