Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, acting as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures or functions as directed by the medical provider.
• Accurately document care provided in the patient medical record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
