You will play a pivotal role in ensuring flawless execution from quotation to project completion!ResponsibilitiesAnalyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layoutsAssess the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project developsGather required data for quote preparation, data entry of new quotes, and contact vendors for job quotesWork directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculationsKeep current of new products, trends, market cost, and pricingFollow up on customer quotes and contact vendors for material pricingCoordinate with vendors to ensure that pricing data is received in a timely mannerParticipate in the resolution of any and all pricing related issuesSend completed quotes to sales representative and/or customer, builder, or designer one day in advance of the identified due dateConfer with owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimatesComplete project work using and maintaining Smartsheet and/or BidTracer to update summary and tracker and manage ordersDevelop knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced brand/product managersRecommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needsAssist Project Managers with execution of project in accordance with the organization's project management methodology according to established project planIdentify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the projectEstablish, maintain, and develop effective sales relationships with major accounts/customersParticipate in corporate-wide initiatives involving pricing functions, philosophies, or processesQualificationsMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a related roleProven experience in all pricing aspects that contribute to successful quotationsTechnical knowledge of quotation management systems and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applicationsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
