Physical Therapist needed for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility located in Waldorf, Maryland. Start date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,669–$2,812 per week. Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing PT evaluations for residents and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions to improve functional independence.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide education to residents and families on home programs, safety, and fall prevention; ensure clear, accurate record-keeping.
- Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy, and management staff to support discharge planning and transition of care.

Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in Maryland (unrestricted).
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment and maintain accurate documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with an interdisciplinary care team.
