Speech-Language Pathologist, Inpatient Rehab Unit (Per-Diem) Purpose & Scope: The Speech-Language Pathologist's function is to perform a thorough evaluation of patients assigned to him / her, to establish goals and plans of treatment to meet the needs of said patient as outlined in the Rehabilitation Department Procedures / Operational Guidelines Manual, to delegate responsibilities and supervise supportive personnel, to assist in administrative tasks, and to participate in educational and orientation programs. Education Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in speech language pathology is required. Experience One year of experience in speech language pathology in an acute care setting is preferred. Certification/Licensure Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required. BLS certification is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr VHC Health
