Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, helping them regain independence in daily living skills
• Develop and update personalized treatment and discharge plans that make a real impact
• Keep accurate and timely documentation so that care is seamless
• Supervise COTAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
• Work hand-in-hand with interdisciplinary care teams and families to achieve the best outcomes
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance in everything you do

Qualifications

• You're a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD) - awesome!
• You hold an active Virginia OT license, or are ready to obtain one before starting
• You bring strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills to the table

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Discharge planning and collaboration with care teams
• Accurate, timely documentation practices
• Supervision and mentorship of COTAs
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
