Ideal for students with attention to detail, strong typing skills, and interest in historical political scholarship. Responsibilities And Career Competencies Type with complete accuracy a transcription of a scanned book into a Word document – T, CT, P Complete a careful index of relevant themes and concepts found in the book for publication – CSD Effectively communicate with supervisor about problems that arise in the process of completing work – P, CSD, T Read and understand the speaking patterns of nineteenth-century American writing – T, CSD Assist supervisor with proofreading of original written material – CSD Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Word, attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills.
