Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Special Care Nursery (SCN) assignment. This Level III NICU provides advanced care to neonates with medical and surgical needs in a highly specialized and supportive environment.

Position Details:

• Unit: Special Care Nursery (651C) – Level III NICU

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift, varies)

• No local candidates accepted (must reside more than 50 miles away)

Unit Overview:
The Special Care Nursery (SCN) is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing care to newborns with complex medical and/or surgical conditions. Most admissions are infants born within the hospital, with select transfers from other facilities evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• Equipment Used:

  • ReCam Ophthalmic Imaging System

  • Cardiac Monitors

  • Warmer Beds

  • Isolettes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience within NICU/SCN (Required)

• Strong neonatal care experience

• Current certifications required:

  • BLS

  • NRP

• Active RN license (state-specific as required)
