Travel Cytotechnology Technologist (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Cytotechnology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY.

• Hourly Pay: $ 36.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2326.00

• On Call Requirements: TBD
  
• Traveler Policy: Permanent address must be included in profile.
  
• 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed required
  

Cytologists participate in specialized and complex technical tasks involved in the processing and screening of the cytological specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions, ensuring the efficient and accurate testing of patient specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the collection of needle aspiration samples
  
• Preparing slides by staining samples
  
• Using microscopes to examine cellular samples
  
• Evaluating samples while following laboratory protocols
  
• Calibrating, troubleshooting, checking and maintaining microscopes and other laboratory equipment
  
• Entering diagnostic information into computer systems
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 5 years Cyto Tech Experience
  
• ASCP is required
  
• Experience with EBUS, EUS, Thyroid FNA Procedures is required
  
• Experience with EPIC is required
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
