• Deliver personalized speech therapy, emphasizing areas like language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Coordinate with a dedicated team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to craft a unified care approach.
• Educate patients and their families to promote ongoing progress beyond the therapy room.
• Occasionally evaluate and provide interventions for inpatient speech therapy cases, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the treatment process.
• Document all processes accurately and promptly, adhering to both state and federal standards.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
