What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator is responsible for all patient care in the procedure room and working with the physician to deliver a successful procedure and outcome for the patient. Duties include - managing procedure room(s) to ensure the rooms are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, etc; administers medication as ordered by physician, following the Moderate Sedation policy; safely monitors and documents care of patients in accordance with policy and procedure and guidelines of care; supports and assists the physicians with care of the patient throughout the procedure. Required Skills: * Graduate of an accredited school of professional Nursing * Current Oregon License as a Registered Nurse * Current BLS & ACLS accredited by AHA required * 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room RN. * Experience in basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation experience preferred * Experience with medical outpatient procedures desired * Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities * Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees * Knowledgeable of hospital/ASC policies and procedures specific to the procedure room * Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions with Patients, Physicians & fellow Team members * Efficient use of resources * Willingness to maintain a clean, organized environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Who We Are We are part of a much larger team with United Surgical Partners International (USPI).At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
