Registered Nurse Progressive Care

Position Overview Location: UCHealth Greeley Hospital, Greeley, CO. Department: Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Schedule: Part Time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, based on experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Six months of ICU or PCU nursing experience (RN) or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program. BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with cards in hand by the start date. BLS/ACLS cards must remain valid for at least sixty days after hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑scope nursing care using the nursing process. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness, perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Precept and mentor new staff and participants in the UCHealth system. Adapt to a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Ensure safety and quality of care at the point of delivery. Session‑Specific Duties Direct care in the PCU’s technically complex environment. Apply AACN’s Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence‑based care.
