This position involves providing treatment, care, and evaluation for pediatric and NICU patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medications within a hospital setting. Job Details: Location: Miami, Florida Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); 2 years of current acute care hospital respiratory therapist experience; Meditech experience; minimum of 0 years of experience; resident or authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Meditech experience; NICU/PICU experience; advanced skills in respiratory treatments and procedures. Additional Information: Unit involves treatment and evaluation for pediatric and NICU patients utilizing high flow devices, nitric oxide, heliox, nebulizers, and advanced ventilation equipment. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, critical thinking, flexibility, and a patient care focus.
