Join a team of 26 Phlebotomists in a fast-paced inpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This a part-time evening position (2:00PM-10:00PM) 4 shifts per week - every other weekend at Weill-Cornell Medical Center. Responsibilities Draw blood for laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures on an inpatient unit. Qualifications Preferred Criteria Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association preferred. One year prior venipuncture experience preferred. Required Criteria Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy required. Customer service skills required. Work arrangement and on-site requirement Part-time evening schedule; on-site presence required (variable by role). All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses. Compensation and benefits Salary Range: $29.50-$34.65/Hourly It all begins with you.
