Advanced Practitioner (PA-C or FNP-C) - McFarland (4/10s) Full Time Regular McFarland, CA, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 4259 Salary Range: $150,000.00 To $170,000.00 Annually Clinica Sierra Vista is one of the largest Federally Qualified Health Centers in California and the nation. It serves patients at 31 health centers in Fresno and Kern counties, offering pediatric, adult, dental, behavioral health, case management, prenatal & women's health, substance abuse treatment, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, health education, outreach, and WIC services. We're looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to provide medical services including patient evaluation, physical examinations, diagnosis, consultation with physicians, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and performing necessary procedures such as pelvic examinations, pap smears, electrocardiography, and venous blood draws. $160,000 Base salary (Commensurate with experience) Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance for physician and family (begins on first day of employment) Sign‑on bonus of up to $75,000 or Mortgage Subsidy up to $75,000. Paid CME Loan repayment through the NHSC. Malpractice coverage through the FTCA/Federal Tort Claims Act. Essential Functions: Evaluate patients for medication utilization or other therapeutic or preventative measures. Provide counseling on health issues, laboratory and X‑ray testing, and preventive steps. Suggest and facilitate referrals when indicated. Carry out therapeutic and preventive maneuvers such as inserting or removing IUDs, fitting diaphragms, suturing lacerations, and applying casts for minor fractures, in collaboration with physicians. Participate in clinical activities at all clinic sites on a scheduled basis, similar to physicians. Demonstrate good interpersonal abilities with patients and associates. Participate in clinical consultations, continuing education within and outside the institution. Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
