Job Summary
Madison, WI Xray Technologist. This position involves performing a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using advanced radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. The role requires troubleshooting, participating in quality assurance, and making quick, highly technical decisions to address physical restrictions and pathology.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, Location, and Experience Requirements: ARRT (R), BLS, State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer, graduate of a school of radiologic technology, and a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Tuesday, with minimum of 40 hours per week, including holidays and standby call.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform a variety of imaging procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure patient safety.
• Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty.
• Additional Information: Pass/Fail cardiac interpretation testing with strict criteria, including telemetry exams and attempts policy. Travelers are required to float as needed, with a local rule of 50 miles from the facility.
