Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Location: Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, 122-bed general acute care community hospital, Torrington, Connecticut (10115). Responsibilities Provide nursing care in a 10-bed ICU for complex medical and surgical patients. Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, drug and alcohol withdrawal, liver and kidney injury/failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, and post‑operative complications. Administer mechanical ventilation and non‑invasive positive‑pressure ventilation (NIPPV). Continuously monitor hemodynamics using arterial lines, cardiac output, capnography, and oximetry. Collaborate with intensivists, clinical leaders, Registered Nurses, and multi‑skilled technicians to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care. Qualifications Active Connecticut RN license required before start date. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum one year of Acute Care RN experience required.
