Position Summary: Supportsand advances rural health workforce development initiatives across the NationalCenter for Rural Health Professions (NCRHP), with a primary focus on careerpathway programming, student engagement, and regional workforce alignment. Thisrole coordinates and implements programming spanning middle school throughprofessional training, supports the Illinois AHEC Network, and contributes toRural Health Transformation (RHT) workforce priorities. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead coordination of Health Career Pathway Programs(middle school, high school, undergraduate and pipeline programs) and Career Tech PathwayInitiatives. Coordinate curriculum delivery across pathways programming with LMS platforms. Serveas liasion for pathways programs across regional workforce programming. Serveas primary student engagement point of contact for students across pathwayprograms. Serveas data manager of the Rural HPE program databases, including developing andmaintaining an inventory of data files. Create independently, or with a team, publications promoting and/or explaining the processes and results of the program. Resolve scheduling, logistics and operational issues. Mentorstudents interested in rural health careers in collaboration with other NCRHPstaff Minimum Qualifications: A total of one (1) year (12 months) in education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (Note: Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.) Basedon position requirements, additional education, training, and/or workexperience in the area of specialization inherent to the position, may berequired. Additional education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization: 1year of education in a teaching, social science, communications, publicrelations, or related field. 1 year of work experience as a certified teacher, curricular development, or coordinating an educational program for middle school, high school or college level students.
