The registered nurse specializing in Intermediate Care Unit care is needed in Wausau, Wisconsin. This position involves working in a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with a focus on ventilator and trach patient management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association or ARC), 2+ years of experience in stepdown/intermediate care or progressive care units, ventilator and trach experience, associate degree or certificate, ability to float to other inpatient units, minimum 1 prior travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience, trauma level II experience, Epic or Cerner EMR experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour nights, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidate should be resilient, a hard worker, capable of managing change, able to work independently, and complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Scrub colors may be any color. During flu season, travelers who decline vaccination must wear masks at all times, per hospital policy.
