Position Overview:

Rahway Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to serve as a Transportation Specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, collaboration, and fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting the district's mission to provide high-quality education and services to all students.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing school busing, maintenance and pupil transportation
2. Demonstrated skills in personnel management, routing, scheduling, fleet maintenance and cost containment
3. Such other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as the Rahway Board of Education may specify

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board's policy on evaluations .
