Outpatient Physical Therapist $20,000 Bonus

Job Overview This position is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The Physical Therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers. Shift Details Full-time; 40 hours/week Location St. James Hospital – Outpatient, Butte, Montana Responsibilities Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using PT procedures and modalities. Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions. Develop treatment plans describing strategy, purpose, and anticipated outcomes. Create exercise regimens at clinic and home to increase flexibility, strength, and endurance. Use modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs. Assist patients in restoring physical function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing permanent disability. Determine patients' ability to be independent and reintegrate into work or community. Promote the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and abide by service behavior standards. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and providers about patient needs and goals. Maintain a clean and inviting work environment according to health department codes and facility standards. Assist in research initiatives as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Current, valid state Physical Therapist licensure. Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. One (1) year related experience (preferably in a clinic setting). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. ACLS certification. Physical Capabilities Carrying Climbing Crawling Hearing/Listening Lifting Manual Dexterity Pulling/Pushing Seeing Speaking Squatting/Kneeling Standing Walking Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $42.66 – $65.82, depending on experience. Eligible caregivers may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000.
