Litigation Attorney - Consumer Property Damage Litigation

Location: Florida

Compensation: Competitive Salary (DOE) + Bonus Potential

Position Overview

A growing law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to handle a caseload focused on consumer property damage matters. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of consumer property damage litigation matters.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

• Prepare and respond to written discovery.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties.

• Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis and recommendations.

• Maintain accurate case files and meet all court deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.

• Strong knowledge of Florida civil litigation procedures.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Spanish fluency is a plus.
