Equipment Repair Technician

Equipment Repair Technician (Open) – Airgas Location: Seattle, WA (Welding equipment rental) & Woodinville, WA (Retail shop). Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (occasionally overtime). Key Responsibilities Commit to upholding company policies including safety and use of personal protective equipment. Restore and maintain all electric and engine drives. Coordinate assembly of electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental. Validate and fine‑tune machines to ensure full functionality for rent or sale. Repaint parts, touch up paint, and apply decals on welders to maintain appearance. Replace defective parts and complete required preventive maintenance. Source and manage parts as needed for repairs. Inspect returned equipment for proper operation and/or customer damage. Utilize forklift, pallet jack or other equipment to stock parts in the shop. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Prepare and complete paperwork for all machine repairs. Occasionally support equipment and customers off‑site. Maintain collaborative communication with all branch personnel. Occasionally advise customers on the most effective equipment solutions for projects. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a good driving record aligned with Airgas driver safety standards. Post‑secondary education equivalent to a one‑year technical college or equivalent is a valued asset. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with positioning equipment, welding applications and equipment. Experience with SAP or similar software systems. Proficiency in operating a computer within Google Workspace.
