Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Pay Range: $50-60/hour Job Description: Up to $60+/hour | Montrose, CO | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year | In-Person Position Details:
- Full-Time, 1.0 FTE
- Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Position
- Starting August 2026 for the entire school year
- Support preschool-aged students (ages 3-5) with diverse developmental and educational needs.

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged students
- Provide specialized instruction in communication, social-emotional development, adaptive skills, and pre-academic areas
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Support students with varying developmental delays and disabilities
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational staff to support student success
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Utilize evidence-based practices and positive behavior supports
- Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
- Early Childhood Special Education endorsement required
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting young learners and their families
- School-based experience preferred
