Food Runner

Job Description Dave & Buster’s is different from everywhere else. No two days are ever the same. Position Snapshot Assists bartenders and servers by running food from the kitchen out to our guests. When not running food, you provide the necessary support to ensure fast, friendly, and accommodating service. Responsibilities Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks, and games in an ideal environment for celebration and fun. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action. Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members. Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures. Restock and prepare supplies for shift change and/or close. Ensure food is properly garnished prior to running out to guests. Follow all tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure food is delivered timely and correctly. Deliver food to tables and ensure the guests have everything they need. Offer assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages. Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate. Maintain a friendly, upbeat demeanor and smile a lot while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Qualifications Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required. Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate with guests and other team members. Physical Demands Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required. Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions. Read and write handwritten notes. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Move about the facility and stand for long periods of time. Walk or stand 100% of the shift. Reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
