Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications, including IV admixtures and unit doses, under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and managing supplies
• Assist with medication reconciliation and patient profile management
• Compound medications according to established protocols
• Perform quality control checks on prepared medications and equipment
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Respond to pharmacy-related inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent work experience
• PTCB Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board)
• State licensure or registration as a Pharmacy Technician
