Maintenance Manager - Food Manufacturing

Overview An established food manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, facility improvements, equipment reliability, and engineering support within a high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance teams, capital projects, contractor relationships, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring efficient plant operations. Responsibilities Lead maintenance and engineering activities across the facility Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Manage maintenance personnel, training, and resource planning Oversee capital improvement and facility upgrade projects Coordinate external contractors and service providers Support production operations through effective maintenance planning Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Requirements Associate\'s Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field 5+ years of management experience in food manufacturing Experience with breading, batter, and fryer production systems Experience with refrigeration systems Experience with wastewater systems Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Experience managing maintenance teams and projects Computer proficiency including Excel and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience with CAD software Experience with PLC-controlled equipment Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Compensation Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 Permanent Full-Time Position #J-18808-Ljbffr
