Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Sonographer specializing in pediatric echocardiography for a travel assignment in Fairfax, VA. This role involves working within a dynamic healthcare environment, covering NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU. The ideal candidate will have expertise in congenital and non-congenital heart diseases, as well as ECMO procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Perform echocardiographic studies for diagnoses including fetal congenital, pediatric, and adult congenital heart disease
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
• Recognize and triage emergent situations
• Provide written communication to cardiologists
• Maintain equipment and log procedures

Requirements of the Sonographer

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
• Knowledge and experience with ECMO procedures
• Extensive understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
• BLS, ARDMS required
• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
• Fetal Echo encouraged; Adult echo a plus
