Associate Director - Information Systems

Amgen seeks an Associate Director for Information Systems to lead the Clinical Data Hub product team. This role involves setting product vision and strategy for a scalable clinical data platform while managing cross-functional teams and senior partnerships across clinical development and technology functions.
Responsibilities
- Establish senior partnerships across Clinical Development and enterprise functions to define CDH strategic roadmap
- Own product vision, multi-year roadmap, investment priorities, and measurable outcomes aligned with clinical strategy
- Lead product portfolio planning, backlog prioritization, and budget management with transparent trade-off decisions
- Provide strategic and people leadership for cross-functional product teams with focus on accountability and continuous improvement
- Represent CDH in senior leadership forums and communicate strategy, risks, and investment needs to drive alignment
Requirements
- Doctorate in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Biology plus 4 years relevant experience
- Master's degree plus 8 years in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Biology
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Biology
- Minimum 4 years managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams and programs
- Product management experience with enterprise data, analytics, or platform products
- Domain knowledge of clinical development data, standards, governance, and regulated environments
- Strategic thinking and ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
